PixelCapture — Terms of Use
Last updated: June 10, 2026
These terms apply specifically to PixelCapture, the Cemzlah screen recording application for Android (and, when released, iOS), and are in addition to the general Cemzlah Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where the documents conflict, this document controls for PixelCapture usage.
1. The product
PixelCapture lets you record your device's screen, optionally with microphone audio, and manage those recordings on your device. Signing in requires a Cemzlah account.
2. Your recordings stay on your device
- Recordings are stored only in the app's local storage on your device. Cemzlah does not upload, receive, view, or store your recordings on its servers.
- Sharing a recording happens exclusively through your device's native share sheet, initiated by you. Once you share a recording with a third-party app or service, that service's own terms and privacy practices apply.
- Deleting a recording in the app, or uninstalling the app, permanently removes the recording from the app's storage. Cemzlah cannot recover deleted recordings.
3. Account data
PixelCapture uses Cemzlah single sign-on. The only data the app exchanges with Cemzlah servers is the standard account and session data described in the Privacy Policy (e.g. your email, name, and login session metadata). No screen content, recording metadata, or media ever accompanies it.
4. Acceptable use
- You are solely responsible for what you record. Do not record content where you lack the right or consent to do so — including other people's private communications, copyrighted material for redistribution, or anything unlawful in your jurisdiction.
- Some jurisdictions require consent from all parties before recording audio. It is your responsibility to comply with the laws that apply to you.
- Apps may legitimately block screen capture of protected content (e.g. DRM video, banking apps). PixelCapture does not and will not circumvent those protections.
5. Pricing
PixelCapture is currently free. If paid features are ever introduced, they will be clearly disclosed in the app and in an update to this document before any charge occurs.
6. Availability & changes
PixelCapture is provided "as is". We may update, change, or discontinue the app at any time. Because recordings live on your device, discontinuation of the app or your Cemzlah account does not delete your existing recordings.
